A cooking video today: Fejoada (Bean stew), bread and cakes, using my new Gipp saucepans

Описание: Going out for the day and want to come home to a hearty meal, then follow my easy 'bean stew' recipe. Taking inspiration from the Brazilian bean stew, Fejoada. Also, no knead bread and party cakes.

Bean Stew:

One Chorizo
One chopped onion
2 tsp garlic
1 tbsp olive oil
2 sliced carrots
1 leek
3 sticks of celery
2kgs piece of gammon or shoulder of pork
500g of black beans (soaked overnight, rinsed and drained)

Slow cooker on high for one hour, low for six or more hours.
Serve with either rice, cous cous, bread, mash.

Cake:
For 24 cup cakes and two tray bakes:
2lbs flour
4 tsps of baking powder
2lbs sugar
2lbs baking fat
16 eggs
Add 2 tbsp of cocoa powder and a splash of milk to make chocolate mix

I made water icing for tray bake and butter icing for cup cakes, following online recipes.



No knead bread:
475g of strong bread flour
2 tsp of salt
.5 tsp of yeast
365 mls of warm water
