Are Guaranteed Stops Really Useful? Is a stop loss guaranteed? How do guaranteed stops work? Many spread betting brokers offer this service now but are guaranteed stops really useful? Most of the times you will be stopped out with normal stops at acceptable levels. Most brokers will only allow you to set a guaranteed stops at quite a distance away from the market so you can't really use tight stops anyway. For me guaranteed stops are a kind of insurance and if you can insure yourself this will work better in the long run. Should I be using Guaranteed Stop Losses? OK.
