✅ Ingredients:
5 to 10 pieces of Gond Kadira (Tragacanth gum)
1 glass of water (for soaking gond)
1 tablespoon Sabja seeds (basil seeds)
1 glass of water (for soaking sabja)
1 tablespoon soaked Gond Kadira
1 tablespoon soaked Sabja seeds
1 teaspoon black salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper (crushed or powdered)
1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin (zeera) powder
1 tablespoon jaggery (shaved or melted in warm water) – or as per taste
1 to 2 teaspoons lemon juice
4 ice cubes
1 glass chilled water
🥣 Method:
Soak Gond Kadira in 1 glass of water for 4 to 5 hours until it blooms and becomes jelly-like.
Soak Sabja seeds in a separate glass of water for 30 minutes to 1 hour until they swell up and become gelatinous.
Take 1 tablespoon of soaked Gond Kadira and 1 tablespoon of soaked Sabja seeds in a glass.
Add black salt, black pepper, roasted cumin powder, and jaggery (or you can substitute it with honey if preferred).
Pour in lemon juice for tanginess and vitamin C.
Add 4 ice cubes and chilled water to fill the glass.
Stir everything well and serve immediately as a refreshing energy-boosting summer drink.
