There are 9 god's eyes and four descendant generations of beings, God (generation 0), Angels (generation 1), Those from Eden (generation 2), Man (generation 3), Those capable of holding a god's eye (generation 4, the ultimate generation).

In this adventure, Lucy is accompanied by Dr. Time (Nicholous Time), an excentric scientist and historian who has hold of the chronos. The chronos is a watch that doesn't just tell time, it TELLS time (basically a time control watch). The device contains a god's eye that allows Dr. Time to communicate with all 7 time fetishes (fetishes are like shinigami from death note crossed with genies, but instead of wishes they grant time when you make a trade).

Lucy needs to find her mother Eve (yes that Eve) and Dr. Time needs Lucy's God's eye to pay his debt to Solaris. And so these two are set on a journey together!
