Mini Zine 32 page Part Two (uses two sheets)

Описание: Mini zines are the hardest to put together before stapling. You have to stop and ask yourself just where do these pages go anyway? So be sure to indicate the page number on the bottom of each page. Remember the bottom of each page is the long outside edge of the paper when pasting your image/wording down on your templates. This is doable. Please have fun! I have to use smaller type unless I can run my poem sideways. Remember that is okay because people can easily turn the zine in any direction.
Regarding scanning your templates. I really cannot be the one to teach you how to scan because I am almost there but not quite yet. Olivia was the one to scan my templates. She is convinced I am going to screw it up but Olivia did explain something new to me at the copy place. So I may have figured it out but I have to test this on my new zine, Active Shooter.

Well the copy machines for double-sided printed have two options:
1. short edge : When you flip the page to scan your second page you flip it on the short edge. R to L
2. long edge : When you flip the second page to scan you flip it on the long edge. Top to Bottom.

This is the only thing I could come up with. Olivia was printing out a zine on the short edge and was trying to explain to me how there was a "henge" on the short side. So I think she was referring to how she flipped the document when she scanned it. If this is true let me know. I am going to test it out soon. I think by henge she meant whatever edge of the template you used to flip. Let me know if this is how you do it.

So, scan your templates carefully. Put this on a flash drive under the title of your zine and print at some copy place. It may come out lighter than you want but try scanning slightly darker if you like darker because you cannot change the darkness at Staples anyway anymore. Nor can you upload from your Google Drive anymore directly from the machine.

Cut the sheets of two-sided printed paper on the long middle line and the middle line in the short direction. Please note these are the only two cuts you make. Leave the other middle of middle lines uncut. Put the zine together the first time paying attention to the page numbers. Get it down right before you fold and staple.
