Criminal captured after Facebook response to Butler Co. Sheriff

Описание: The Butler County Sheriff's Department arrested a suspect Tuesday, who was wanted on multiple warrants, and who apparently, is an active social media user.

Authorities believe 21-year-old Andrew Marcum most recently committed a robbery, but the date of the alleged crime was not released.

Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones tweeted a new mugshot for Marcum Tuesday night .

Marcum's offenses, according to authorities, mostly took place in Hamilton and Middletown.

The Sheriff's office posted the information to its Facebook page Monday, where there was an exchange of communication between Marcum and the Sheriff's office.

Marcum responded to the post with the comment, "I ain't tripping half of them don't even know me," to which the BCSO responded, "Andrew Marcum, if you could stop by the Sheriff's Office, that'd be great."

It was not clear whether Marcum heeded the advice.◂
