US in control of moving ships through Hormuz strait, ops Iran conflict cost US$37.5bil

Описание: The United States' war in Iran has cost US$37.5bil so far, said Secretary of War Pete Hegseth in a Senate hearing on July 21, adding that the figure also includes anticipated costs through Sept 30.

Hegseth said US forces helped oil tankers move out some 500 million barrels of oil under the nose of Iran over the course of Project Freedom, and the US remains in control of moving traffic through the Strait of Hormuz but Iranian forces kept shooting at the ships recklessly.
