Nicole woke up and heard noises in the kitchen. When she went in, she saw her father sitting in a wheelchair and trying to make her breakfast. Ten years ago, a strong and sturdy man became wheelchair-bound due to a car accident. At that time, Nicole's mother had to not only do her main job, but take care of her sick husband as well. She coped with the enormous burden heroically, but one day her heart stopped beating. It happened four years ago, when Nicole was nineteen, and she had just entered the college. After burying her mother, the girl switched to a distance-learning program and got a job as a maid.

Nicole agreed. The man introduced himself as Adrian, and to the girl's great surprise, he turned out to be Mrs.Scott's son.
