Описание: She was born as Sigrid Solbakk Raabe in Norway. She was inspired during her childhood by singer like Adele, Joni Mitchell or Neil Young. At the age of 17 she and her sister Johanne formed a band called 'Sara Says Mhyp' named after a cat they had.

In 2013 Sigrid released her debut single 'Sun' which was her national breakthrough in Norway. After playing some local festivals she signed a worldwide record deal and released the debut EP 'Don't Kill My Vibe' in 2017 which helped her reach the charts in Norway, the UK and Australia. With the single 'Strangers' she reached the Top 10 in the UK and got a platinum certification.

In 2018 Sigrid was announced the winner of the BBC Music Sound of 2018, an annual poll by music critics in the UK. At the Norwegian Grammys 'Spellemannprisen' she won the 'Newcomer Of The Year' award. Later that year she released her 2nd EP called 'RAW'. In 2019 Sigrid released her debut album 'Sucker Punch' which topped the Norwegian album charts, and peaked at #4 in the UK and Ireland. It also reached album charts in Germany & Australia among other countries.
