Today is my birthday so I'm sending out my own gift into the interwebs for all you legends! This weeks Attic Collection tune is the title track off the new EP. 'Pockets' speaks to our tendency to believe that positive change or growth is linked to not having enough... "When we started out with nothing, maybe nothing is all we really need".
The song stemmed from a single lined that grace gifted upon me - "My clothes they have no pockets, makes me feel as I am free, they were give to me by a man who in his hands held everything that he needs".
The Attic Collection is a series of tracks from my latest EP, 'Pockets' - performed and recorded live in my temporary home studio in a friends attic on the south-east coast of Australia.
I'm using the Boss RC-50 loop station to record each of the parts live. Again, hope you dig it!
