San Diego Christian College to Relocate to Mt. Helix Campus

Описание: San Diego Christian College President Bill Crawford announced today that the institution is moving from the current location in Santee, to a new location, a few miles away near Mt. Helix starting in the Fall of 2022. 

This dynamic opportunity provides San Diego Christian College the ability to advance its Student population, provide a better Student experience, reaffirm our Christian commitment, and allow the college to increase financial viability. The Mt. Helix Campus which will be a shared campus with Faith Chapel is a 16-acre facility with a newly renovated 1900-seat auditorium, gymnasium, coffee shop, and more. This relocation will significantly increase the overall campus size providing better opportunities to learn, teach and grow in our academics and our faith in Jesus Christ.

Helix Campus allows us to offer a more comprehensive experience to our Students. Rancho San Diego and Grossmont Center is just a short drive from the new campus full of shopping and dining options.


Why move?
Simply, we wanted a stronger Church connectivity. The move will reduce real estate expense by sharing costs and provide a better campus experience.


What will the campus experience be like?
A beautiful 16 acre campus with a newly renovated 1900 seat auditorium, gymnasium, coffee shop and plenty of outdoor spaces with trees and lawns. 


How safe is this location?
While the campus has had very minimal security issues,  this campus comes equipped fully fenced with electronically controlled entrance gates. San Diego County Sheriff station 5 minutes away. 


How far is the new campus from Student housing?
12 min drive (8.6 miles) 


What will the shuttle service look like for students?
SDCC shuttles will operate Monday thru Thursday
7:00am - 9:00am
11:00am - 2:00pm


What about parking?
Free parking at our Mt Helix Campus.


Is SDCC now part of Faith Chapel?
No, SDCC is leasing space from Faith Chapel and SDCC remains completely independent as a 501 (C3)Corporation.
