KENNETH YOUNG: Reverie
A second work by Kenneth Young performed by Wellington Brass Band at its May concert was ‘Reverie’, for brass band and solo euphonium. The work was dedicated to legendary euphonium soloist Riki McDonnell on his 50th birthday. The solo part is performed in this SOUNZ film by Luke Spence, a former winner of the New Zealand Brass Foundation Young Brass Musician of the Year Prize.
