In this stream, we will be playing through the increased difficulty mode, Terror & Starvation! Terror & Starvation increases the dangers of the dungeons while reducing what already small advantages the player has. In this mode the darkness from not having a torch is greatly increased with many areas being pitch black, many enemies have more health and will deal more damage, the Jaggedjaw dogs can follow you in the main entrance and hunt you down if you aren’t fast enough, many food drops will give you rotten versions of food which will poison the character if eaten, your chance to escape battles is reduced, some bookshelf coin flip fails will cause you to be bitten by a rat which infects the player’s limbs, special events can occur such as the Harvestman snatching the girl from your party in Ma’habre, and there are certain enemies which only appear in this mode like the Black Witch in Ma’habre and the Traces of Sylvian in the Void.
