Описание: The General Audience with the Pope are held on Wednesday mornings when the Pope is in the Vatican. Pope Francis addresses the faithful and visitors in various languages, offers teachings and readings, and imparts his apostolic blessing.

Some of the features of the General Audience are:

Schedule and location: The General Audience is usually held on Wednesdays at 9:00 am, either in St. Peter’s Square or in the Paul VI Hall, depending on the weather and on the Pope’s schedule.

Tickets and access: The General Audience is free and open to everyone, but tickets are required to enter the seating area near the front. Tickets can be requested in advance from the Prefecture of the Papal Household.

You can send your filled in downloaded request form by email, fax or by post.
We requested our tickets way ahead of time about six months which we believe was too early. You can request 2-3 months in advance.

Tickets can be collected at the Bronze Door (under the right-hand colonnade of St Peter’s Square) between 15:00 and 19:00 on the preceding afternoon, or on the morning of the audience from 7:00.

We picked up our tickets the day before the audience so we breezed through security without any issues.
