It is March 2026, and the construction of the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) Bullet Train Station and Thanne Bullet Train Station—BKC the only underground station on the 508km Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (MAHSR) corridor—is reaching critical new milestones.

🏗️ Excavation Status: Excavation at the BKC site is now nearing completion, reaching a staggering depth of 32 meters (approx. 100 feet).
🧱 Base Slab Casting: Work is in full swing on the base slab casting using temperature-controlled M-60 grade concrete to ensure maximum structural integrity.
🚉 Multi-Modal Hub: Integration work has begun to connect the BKC station seamlessly with Mumbai Metro Lines 2B and 3, creating a world-class transit hub.

Platforms: 6 platforms (designed for 16-coach E5 Series Shinkansen trains).

Design: A 3-level underground structure (Platform, Concourse, and Service Floor).

Sustainability: Features a unique "skylight" design to bring natural light 100 feet underground.

Completion Target: Construction is racing toward a 2028 operational target.
