Описание: And finally! The best ride of the season 2013 is here and it's here to stay - for 4 parts! Join me on my first ride through Đerdap, the largest National Park in Serbia and some of its incredible and raw beauty.

The 4 of us started in Golubac, where the Danube is 2 km wide (!) and went straight up a hill at 11 % angle. Even though the road is an absolute rubbish, we quickly realized it's simply irrelevant, as we were given the first glimpses of the incredible scenery. And it follows us through valleys and mountains, through countryside and villages, through good and bad road or no road at all!

The climb in this part and indeed the entire ride are very hard and the offroad sections mostly go from hard to extreme. But the sheer beauty of the scenery and amazing views make you forget about everything else and just keep going forward. And at some point, we will be going back down.

This is a really special ride for those who prefer the countryside to the cities. Absolutely stress free and a complete joy to watch!

Special greeting goes to people cheering at Grand Tour races in silly outfits! :) Not only you make us all laugh, but you simply make up the races as much as the riders! And if you get your kids out of school to join you, even better! :) That day they will surely never forget. Not many school days you can say that about...
