Safeguarding Assistance through Enhanced Civil Society Cooperation and Structured Risk Assessments

Description: This workshop will feature the USAID Office of Inspector General acting general counsel as a moderator and interviewer for a dynamic panel discussion and opportunity for audience members to interact with representatives from the Inspector General’s office for USAID, the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation and the Export Import Bank of the United States, as well as a representative from the Millennium Challenge Corporation's Anti-Fraud and Corruption Team. This session will include both questions directed to audience members to elicit their experience, insight, and advice for the panel members and their organizations, and an opportunity for audience members to provide questions to the panel members.

Aims and objectives: Engaging with civil society organizations (CSOs), journalists, and other donor organizations about how they can participate in, assess, monitor, contribute to, or replicate donor efforts to safeguard the integrity of programs and work to prevent the loss of development resources to corruption or fraud, based on the policies and practices of several U.S. Government agencies
