My Ultrasonic from Starboard is just fantastic. I had both Futura 146 and Ultrasonic and I have sold the Futura. The Ultrasonic is much faster, planing is incredible and I am 110 kg. My board flies 51,1 Km/h with the 9m Avanti Condor.

On this video, from La Bergerie, I have a Neilpryde 8,6 RS : MK 6 with 3 cambers. This is the best choice for 18/20 kt wind. This sail is much better than the EVO 7 for non professionals big boys.

Very rigid, Much Lighter, more powerful for planing, easy to maneuver when the wind depowers and as fast as the EVO 7 that I also sold a few weeks ago. I could not find any benefits from the EVO7 and I feld penalized with the extra significant weight that goes with.
Probably professionals will argue on positive differences but those guys are top level and they are sponsored for their equipments, they weight the half and they age the third. Differences are probably there.
This last point is very important for heavy old boys because we do not get tired when the wind blows ... no no no ..., we get tired when the wind depowers because of contorting and twisting we have to do fight against the gravity and the Archimed problems !

Indeed the NP MK and Ultrasonic is the best combo I have ever had. My experience has reach its paroxysm with a fin of 51 cm from Select 1 Superfast. This combo it is the best adapted for spots with important high variances in the wind power like we have here at l'Almanarre or Fos when the Mistral is blowing.
