Описание: I have bought a 1kw mercury vapor lamp from China some while ago. While trying to assemble the lamp setup (lamp, ballast, starter), I figured out that the starter was nonfunctional.

I found a way how to start the lamp without dedicated starter, by using some inexpensive parts like a spark plug etc…
