Brands have been putting out lack lustre womens watches for a long time now. It's almost always "Shrink it, Pink it, Quartz it" - but the brands that are doing well at the moment all have great female offerings: Cartier, Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe. Whereas the brands in decline don't really cut the mustard with ladies watches I am thinking OMEGA, JLC, Vacheron. And it truly brings me no joy to say this. These are brands that I love - but when I look at their womens offerings they all fall a bit flat. Today we are exploring if the rise and decline of certain brands is attached to their female watch offerings.
