President Rodrigo Roa Duterte led the discussion concerning national security issues and the defense capability of the country against terrorism during the National Security Council (NSC) Executive Committee meeting in Malacañan Palace.

The NSC counsels the President on proper coordination and integration of plans and policies involving the national security and other related matters.

Several members of President Duterte’s Cabinet, led by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea and National Security Adviser (NSA) Secretary Hermogenes Esperon, Jr. were present in the meeting.
