The BEST Viewpoint in Patagonia - Solo Hiking Cerro Otto 🇦🇷

Today is was a solo hiking mission up Cerro Otto in Patagona, which I think offers one of the best viewpoints I have ever seen.

This hike is great as you can walk it directly from the town of San Carlos de Bariloche. This will add around 1km onto your hike depending on where you start from and the hike itself is 13km in total (without the additional km's from town).

You cannot go wrong here as yo are following a road to the viewpoint. The road is fine, but when cars pass you it can get a little bit dusty.

The views are spectacular from about 25% of the hike all the way to the top.

The viewpoint at the top is a little bit busy and commercial as you can get the teleferico up there. There is a restaurant and place to get a drink.

Whilst it is a busy spot I think hiking to a viewpoint always makes it taste sweet - maybe thats just me being a romantic.

That being said the severity of hike vs the views you are second to none - aka its a super easy hike as the views are spectacular.
