Kamla Nehru Public School is a value-based school, which believes in education and empowering the young learners. Kamla Nehru Public School founded in the year 2007, is a modern, co-educational school, affiliated with Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. Our collaboration with Microsoft resulted in School being recognised as Microsoft Associate School in 2015 and as Microsoft School in 2016. We started our Microsoft Showcase School journey in 2017 and hold being recognised as Microsoft Showcase School till date. The School has bagged the International School Award, by the British Council, U.K., for the years 2012-15, 2015-18, 2018-21. KNPS is a Wakelet School 2020. The junior wing, Kamla Nehru Primary School caters to the education for Nursery to Grade V.
KNPS boasts of a well-stocked library, well equipped Science Labs, Atal Tinkering Lab, Electronic Technology Lab, 4 Computer Labs, 26 Smart Class-rooms, a 200-meter athletic track, Kho-Kho ground, a Basketball court, Volley ball Court, Football Court, a Badminton Court and Lawn Tennis Court too.
KNPS has introduced skill subjects in its curriculum i.e. Artificial Intelligence in classes VIII & IX, Skill Subjects – Electronic Technology, Web Application, Food Nutrition & Dietetics, Media, Mass Media Studies & Financial Market Management have been introduced in classes XI, XII to inculcate various skills to prepare the students for tomorrow’s world.
Kamla Nehru Public School is the ambassador of the UN 17 sustainable Goals, which are to be achieved by 2030. We are working on #SDG4 Quality Education Target 4.4 we are preparing our students for the unseen tomorrow, the uncertain tomorrow, the undiscovered tomorrow. Target 4.4 SDG 4 Quality Education states that: By 2030, substantially increase the number of youth and adults who have relevant skills, including technical and vocational skills, for employment, decent jobs and entrepreneurship. We are preparing our students for a world of technology. For a world of AI. We are focusing on the relevant skill set and technical knowhow, that students may use to ideate, to innovate and to create solutions for real life problems and help in building a sustainable world.
Kamla Nehru Public School has an International Policy in place which it adheres to in letter and spirit. The school has marked itself on the International map with great laurels.
The School is the International Winner Global Minecraft Championship out of 1266 participants from 61 countries.
The school is the National Winner in Microsoft Global Learning Connect: Students traveled 646 global classes in 46 different countries from 10th November 2020 midnight to 11th November 2020 midnight. National Level CBSE Science Exhibition Winners, January 2020, category “Resource management”. Project Title : “The Liquid Gold”. National Winner Ideate for India Challenge – Creative Solutions using Technology organized by National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, supported by Intel India. National Winner “Microsoft Al for GOOD Idea Challenge”, November 2019.
