Beekeeping EP36 – Hive Check Before Trip 🐝🧳

Описание: Before heading off on a two-week trip, I did a quick inspection of the left hive to see how things were holding up. What I found wasn’t exactly encouraging: several empty frames, some burr comb, and dead larvae that likely didn’t get fed in time. There was one reassuring moment though—spotting the queen and seeing fresh eggs in some cells.

This inspection turned into a bit of hive triage. I shifted brood frames, repositioned others to encourage better activity, and tried to give the queen more usable space to lay eggs. The bees remained surprisingly calm through it all, which was a small win.
