Our Gibb River Road going east to west, started on 24 June 2022. This video is of our drive from the turn-off to Ellenbrae Station to Mt Elizabeth Station. However our GoPro video froze on an image between the rest area at the Kalumburu turn-off and the turn-off to Mt Elizabeth Station. The corrugations loosened the nut on our aerial which is not accessible on the roadside, due to the design of our bull bar. We were hoping it would hold till Mt Elizabeth Station where we could borrow some tools to tighten it up but it did not and we had to cut the cable to the aerial and put it in the back for the rest of our trip. Will fix it when back home in Darwin as we don’t want to waste our holiday days getting it fixed.
