Our Patient Support Group can help you on your road to recovery.
Stroke is a preventable disease and studies indicate that 80% of strokes can be prevented. Identifying the risk factors that contribute to stroke can help reduce the likelihood of having a stroke.
Join us as we help stroke survivors, their families and close friends cope with the aftermath of a stroke. This group provides information on stroke recovery, resources and a forum to learn new coping skills and is facilitated by stroke survivor Dana Rivera. Guest speakers include physician specialists, nutrition experts and the rehab team at Providence Saint John’s Health Center, Santa Monica, CA.
FREE MEETINGS ARE HELD ON THE SECOND WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH.
