Описание: This module describes the definition of Angle of internal friction for soil. Tried to develop a prediction model to predict the angle of internal friction using excel. The multiple linear regression analysis performed on the test data collected from project. The independent variables considered in the model are % cement added for stabilisation of sandy soil, maximum dry density and the optimum moisture content and dependent variable considered was angle of internal friction. The regression model developed was having R2 value of 0.983 close to one and standard error is less than 0.31. The values of R2 and standard error demonstrates that the model is fit for high accuracy. The validation of the model was done on 23 test samples and observed a variation of +5% and -6% from the actual. There is a need to check the validation of the model on non sandy soils for predicting the Phi value. As of now the model is fit for sandy soil only.....
