Описание: “The Beethoven Project” is a four-part music documentary which follows the musicians of the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen and their artistic director and conductor Paavo Järvi as they are preparing to play all nine Beethoven symphonies in just four days at the Beethovenfest in Bonn. The series gives an insight into the musicians' enthusiasm for music – in rehearsal, in concert and behind the scenes.

Part 2 of “The Beethoven Project” offers an exclusive look at rehearsals of Beethoven's 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th symphonies.

Paavo Järvi's musicians choose specific motifs from these Beethoven symphonies and demonstrate their specific characteristics. Each musician explains his or her individual interpretive style. In addition, a few musicians from the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen tell their personal stories. We hear, for instance, that hitting the right note on the French horn is purely a question of nerves. And we learn that the musicians encourage music education by visiting schools in their free time and showing the pupils their instruments.

We also get a peek into the administrative office of the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, where fifteen employees schedule the many tours and concerts by the orchestra. Experience up close what it really means for Paavo Järvi and the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen to rehearse all nine of Beethoven's symphonies at once.
