Описание: In the serene villages of South India, a silent revolution was stirring, one that was set in motion through a groundbreaking initiative led by ESAF Small Finance Bank. An organisation that has been committed to uplifting unserved and underserved communities since 1992.

The organisation believes that the righteousness of financial inclusion lies in its ability to uplift rural Indian women. Indian women comprise more than 80% of our customer base, and it's no wonder this project holds a special place in our hearts. As a small finance bank, we always strive to understand her needs, and through this project, we once again stepped into her shoes and unearthed some valuable insights.

In October 2023, we launched the Dabba Savings Account (Micro Savings Account),
as a pilot project to empower rural women in South India and we have witnessed the transformative power of inclusion, as we've changed the lives of thousands of women by integrating them into the banking system.

Although it was a confidential project designed to fully address her needs, habits and privacy, we spilled the beans on 9th March 2024 as part of our 7th-anniversary celebrations. Yes, we couldn't contain our excitement any longer and unveiled the product born out of compassion and dedication.
