Описание: 1985 Group 1 (similar to the then European and Australian Group A series) race at Kyalami. At this event, the Ford Sierra XR8's of Serge Damseaux and John Gibb were unbeatable, but that didn't deter Tony Viana from delivering his typical inspired performance behind the wheel of the Winfield BMW 745i, the only other Class T car. The Alfa Romeo Class U challenge, headed by Nico Bianco in the SA-only Alfa GTV 3 litre, didn't shape at all for this race, held amidst a season of high controversy off the track.
