FS 508-128 Siren Test, Piedmont, OK

So another Saturday OK siren test in the books, met up with Andrew today and headed to this new 508. This is Piedmont’s newest siren, it’s in a weird recording location, and Andrew has never recorded a 508 so we thought why not. Piedmont tends to place their sirens in the weirdest places, most being in the middle of literally nowhere like this one. I had doubts they would test since there was rain in the area earlier in the morning but turns out the FD and EMA doesn’t care about rain unless it’s more severe. If it wasn’t for Piedmont we would’ve gone to Bethany for their P-15 which would still be cool, but regardless of what I recorded I’m glad I got a recording and that the rain didn’t mess it up. Also the clouds I got in my video were cool so there’s that too I guess.

Piedmont tests their outdoor warning sirens each Saturday at noon if there isn’t much rain around
