Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall: Flag Raising Ceremony, Taipei, Taiwan [October 2024]

Описание: Every morning, the flag raising ceremony is performed at Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall, one of many of Taipei's tourist attractions and a national monument erected in memory of the first President of Taiwan (Republic of China).

The ceremony lasts between 15-20 minutes. In the summer period (April 1st to September 30th) the ceremony begins at 06:00am and in the winter period (October 1st to March 31st) it begins at 06:30am.

On this occasion, the ceremony was conducted by the Republic of China Army Honour Guard, where two soldiers in their green coloured uniform with their glinting helmet, raise the national flag to begin their day.

Disclaimer: You may have noticed the differences or irregularities seen throughout the video. That's because this was filmed on several mornings. For example, the giant marquee. Now, I did not expect an event been set up throughout my filming period, so I kindly ask to disregard this.

It's been 5 years since I have uploaded my last video, gaining more than a quarter of a million views. I thank all of you for watching and commenting. So where have I been? The answer is quite simple really; life. After I uploaded my last video, I moved out of my home town to start my new job, then the pandemic occured and lost my job. A few months later I found another job but had to move elsewhere. Then found another job which, once again, I had to move to another location. So as you can see, I've been everywhere. That means I had no opportunity to do filming. Then one day, I have decided to visit Taiwan. After doing my research before visiting, I have discovered guard ceremonies and that gave me the opportunity to go back to Youtube and make videos. Without furtherado, I present you the flag raising ceremony video in Taipei.
