The Rainbow Mountain Palccoyo tour, also known as Alternative Rainbow Mountain tour, shows you three rainbow mountains at aprox. 4900 m (16,075 ft).
This tour has become one of our travelers’ favourite because there are no crowds around and the hike (45-60 minutes) is a lot easier compared to the one at Vinicunca. Apart from that, you’ll have the opportunity to hike with a llama or an alpaca at Palccoyo.
If the circumstances allow it, we also visit the local community’s museum where a local will tell you more about their lifestyle and traditions.
The day tour to Palccoyo includes a professional bilingual guide, breakfast & lunch, pickup & drop-off and hiking sticks. You can either choose a private tour or a small-group tour of 2-8 travelers.
