Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer. Today we're gonna take a look at this SeaSucker Vacuum Cup Mount for your ACR CAT 1 EPIRB device. Now this mount here is gonna allow you to mount that ARC CAT 1 device on a nice, easy to reach location without permanently installing it to your boat's fiberglass. Now the EPIRB device is not included, and if you're not familiar what that stands for, is that device stands for Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon. And what it is, it's a buoyant marine safety device that transmits a signal to satellites when activated. So it alerts Search and Rescue to a vessel's location.

The mount that will hold that device is the sturdy dual four and a half inch diameter vacuum cup holder here. This will attach to nearly any non-porous surface. And you can install it and detach it in sections, just by pumping these vacuum cups to hold it into place. The way you would do that is pop off the covers that it comes with. Once your covers are off, then you'll just again put that to a non-porous surface, either flat, vertical, whichever you need, and then what you'll do is pump these plungers until those vacuum cups start to attach to the boat.

And the way you'll be able to tell that is as you're pumping these plungers, that orange ring is gonna disappear like that. Once you pump it and that rings disappear, that means it has enough vacuum in it to hold it into place. The pull rating on each cup is about 120 pounds. So what's nice about this, you can mount it wherever you need, remove it, mount it another place so you don't have to drill into your boat's fiberglass. It does have a nice laser edge surface and the pre-drilled holes right here that'll let you easily install that EPIRB device.

Does come with the mounting hardware to mount the device. Now the hard, this is a hard plastic construction. It's very lightweight, yet durable. Now this part is made in the USA. Few dimensions on this, either the length or if you mount it vertically, the height overall, one end to the other, that's right at 14 and a half inches.

The width, which is gonna be the widest point right here, is right about five inches wide, and your total depth is gonna be right about two and a half inches deep.
