Customize the running index numbering logic with index areas
You can now place index areas onto a model and customise the running index numbering logic in them. An index area consists of multiple rows and the running index will proceed according to the rows.
When you assign an index area, you need to define a starting corner for the running index and select whether the index proceeds left to right throughout or the direction is reversed for every other row. The size of the index area and the number and height of the rows can be freely selected.
Index areas help you to adjust running indexes according to user preferences or model areas, and they also make it easier to locate objects based on index numbers.
