He explained that the volatility of international prices has created significant financial pressure on the sector.
As part of these measures, he acknowledged the difficult decision to implement a painful downward review of the domestic producer price. According to him, this step, though challenging, is intended to stabilize the industry, ensure sustainability, and prevent long-term harm to cocoa farmers and the broader economy.
