We drive the all-new BT-50! Has the switch to Isuzu D-MAX underpinnings helped out Mazda’s pick-up ute? With all-Isuzu mechanicals, including the D-Max three litre turbo diesel four cylinder engine, the 2021 BT-50 is designed to be even more durable. Plus, inside, there is a Mazda-influenced interior with wireless Apple CarPlay and available brown leather, or cloth as on our XTR grade here. With a dual range transfer case, 3,500kg towing and a rear diff locker, would you consider the new BT-50?
In today’s view, Tom Baker from Chasing Cars conducts a first review of this new dual cab ute from Mazda finished here in a deep blue over a black cloth interior. This version is equipped with 4x4 and a six-speed automatic gearbox.
