Will Emilia Clarke play Anastasia Steele?

Well, I'm terribly sorry to bum you guys out -- but we still are unsure. However, Emilia is currently looking like she is the favorite to take on the female lead in Fifty Shades of Grey.

She has topped several fan polls online -- and a new fan-made trailer that features her alongside Henry Cavill as Christian Grey has gone viral.

Plus, let's face it -- Emilia has the brunette hair and bright blue eyes. She's comfortable with nudity -- if you watch Game of Thrones, then you understand. Plus, on the HBO show, her character transformed from an innocent young girl to a fierce army leader. That counts for something, right?

Regardless, it seems we won't have to wait too much longer for an official casting announcement because after what seems like an eternity, casting for the movie has finally begun as of this week.

As of now though, like I told you a few weeks ago -- the only official news regarding cast and crew is that of the director... and that gig went to Sam Taylor-Johnson.
Another rumor that's hit the internet is the possibility of either Blake Lively or Amber Heard taking on the part of Ana's best friend, Kate Kavanagh. In my opinion, both are good options. Also -- like I told ya, it seems Garrett Hedlund and Ian Somerhalder are no longer in the running to play Christian.
But, what do you guys think? Could Daenerys Targaryen herself take on the role of Anastasia Steele? Do you think there's something to these web rumors? Or, are you still holding out for someone like Lucy Hale or Alexis Bledel?
