Luiseño Bike Park. Full Trail Chill ride on Coyote Chase and Rabbits Leap Blue Intermediate Trails

Описание: Rescheduled opening day 9/2/23 (the trails actually opened in August but their grand opening day got rescheduled). Full pull videos on Blue Trails (well edited out the times I stopped to take photos lol). But climbs and slow parts included to show the entire trail.

Late afternoon, possibly the last shuttle up. Only a few of us riders for this trip means the truck was light so it could climb faster and the suspension effectively becomes too stiff and springy compared to normal trips when the trucks are full to capacity, and both of these resulted in a bumpier but tbh a fun ride up. I'd recommend keeping the helmet on and grabbing the truck sides.

Coyote Chase was fun, but there's a climb at the start. Not too bad but steep at sections. Then it's mostly all downhill from there. Can be ridden as a flow trail, but there are also a lot of opportunities for small kicker jumps and small drops along the trail.

Passed by the start of Granite Falls and that feature is legit. I was riding on my own and I haven't tried a similar feature in the past so 100% I passed lol.

Rabbits Leap was fun too, with fast sections and some enjoyable rock gardens. I wish I had my grippier Freeriders on but I got them wet earlier in the day going down the river (too rocky to be bare foot). There were a few blown out loose sections, not too bad and probably typical for SoCal, but this also means it's a good idea to preride before going all out. Really fun and I'm looking forward to riding these trails again.

Riding a Yeti SB6c on this run. I bought this bike with carbon damage and had it repaired and custom painted at Element 6 (https://www.element6.us/). Bang for the buck build with Shimano Deore brakes and XT/SLX drive train.
