Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a one of a kind 1924 Ford Model T pickup. This 1924 Ford was inspired by Moonshine running. The theme of the build makes this one look like it could be used as a bootlegging vehicle. At first glance, it may look like a basic Model T pickup, but once you look underneath you can see this one has all the performance goodies. The truck sits on a custom frame, which rides on QA1 coilover shocks in all four corners. Perhaps the only clue from the outside is the custom Wheel Vintiques wheels wrapped in radial tires. These wheels hide disc brakes in all four corners to bring everything to a halt. The front end is a Mustang II set up with tubular control arms. The drive train features a 302 CID Ford V8 which started with a SRC long block and was built to 1969-1970 Mustang GT specs. Behind the 302 is a rebuilt C4 transmission, and a Detroit locker 9" Ford rear end with Moser housing and axles and 3.00 gears. The V8 breathes though dual exhaust will very cool exhaust pipe flappers. The exterior is finished in a matte black finish which gives the truck a lot of attitude. The bed features some "moonshine" crates which house the fuel filler, battery, storage, and battery cut off. Keeping with the theme, the interior has neat finishing touches like a wooden gear selector and burlap dash upholstery. A few modern additions to the Model T is the Haywire wiring loom, modern stereo, back up camera, and 3rd brake light. The entire build including rebuilt driveline has just 19 miles. The truck is certainly ready for the road, car shows, or heck, even running moonshine.
