Описание: The Ecsite workrooms provide science engagement professionals with a short series of online talks, group discussions and workshops, and even some offline preparation, all centred around one specific theme; an opportunity for participants to broaden knowledge together.

The SySTEM 2020 EU project devised a workroom in March 2021 to exercise the imagination of science communicators as well as education and learning professionals in museums, science centres, arts organisations and beyond to help us characterise the future of our field, answering questions such as: how do we make sure that the informal science learning sector works in pursuit of justice and equity? How do we empower a diverse generation of scientists, technologists, artists, engineers or mathematicians to be resilient agents of change, who realise a socially just world?

This workroom took place over three weeks. In the third week, three learners took centre stage to offer more inspiration for us. For us to move forward and characterise the future we must not only listen to the present generation but we must also take inspiration from the next generation as well.
