How to ADS on Valorant Console - Aim Down Sight

Описание: In this video I show you how to ADS on Valorant Console. You can aim down sight by entering focus mode and pressing down your right stick. On console the right stick if often referred to as the R3 button. Doing this will toggle ADS allowing you to aim down sight or switch back to focus mode if you wish.

Focus mode can be enabled by holding down your aim in button. Typically this will be L2 or left trigger. However, if you have inverted your controller binds then you may need to press the L1 button or left bumper. When in focus mode you will have a slight vignette on your screen and be zoomed in slightly. This is also the aiming mode that places a HUD near the middle of your screen.

Alternatively, you can change your settings to ADS with your L2 button, rather than focus mode. To do this you will need to go to the Controls settings, and navigate down to the aim options. Here you will find the Prioritize Focus / ADS setting. By changing the prioritize focus / ADS setting to ADS you will invert your ADS and Focus mode. This means that holding down L2 or your left trigger will aim down sight. Additionally, you can then toggle focus mode by pressing the right stick.

Although it is often preferred to prioritize focus mode rather than ADS, it’s best to use what makes you comfortable. As someone playing on console it’s likely that you’re accustomed to aiming down sight by holding your L2 button. If this is the case then it may feel more natural to prioritize ADS on Valorant.
