America Sent a Whole Army After Him and Still Lost

Описание: March 9, 1916 — Pancho Villa raided Columbus, New Mexico, the only foreign invasion of the continental U.S. since the War of 1812. President Wilson dispatched General Pershing with 10,000 troops to capture him. After eleven months of pursuit across northern Mexico, they came home empty-handed. Villa's reason for the raid: an American arms dealer had cheated him on a rifle order.
