We started our Macedonian food tour with a local breakfast that’s a popular Macedonian food. This is a super tasty and hearty way to start the day. We wanted to taste the best street food in Macedonia, so we went to a favourite shop for one dish that you just have to eat when you’re in Macedonia, tavče gravče. As the number one food to eat in North Macedonia, tavče gravče is a hearty bean dish that’s super flavourful and full of delicious tastes.

When in Macedonia, you must visit a Kafeana. Here, they serve local Macedonian food with fresh ingredients.
