Описание: Lawrence Ross, a lecturer and bestselling author, gave the keynote address for the 2018 Spring Commencement Ceremony for the LaFetra College of Education at University of La Verne. Ross, who received a Doctor of Humane Letters at the ceremony, talked about race relations and social justice. He told graduates they have a responsibility to stamp out racism and ignorance in the educational system. Ross has spoken at hundreds of colleges and universities about fraternalism, student development, and fraternity and sorority hazing following the release of his book, “The Divine Nine: The History of African American Fraternities and Sororities.”
