English: - Arta is the second largest city in the Region of Epirus, Greece;
Trikala is one of the cities of Western Thessaly.
The total distance between these two cities is 148 Km.
We'll begin our journey a couple of kilometers east of Arta in order to avoid heavy traffic.
Along the road, we'll brave old mountain passes; take in the gorgeous views of the Pindos Mountain Range, cross over a massive dam, and some pretty impressive bridges, admire views that would normally belong to countries like Switzerland, and eventually arrive to Trikala via Pili Trikalon!!!
In this relaxing 21-minute drive video, we will travel from the Vathirrema, or Vathirreuma village to the Stournareika village in the Trikala Region.
This part of the route is verdant and mountainous, and has a tunnel, but, luckily and all things considered, it is in pretty good shape.

Ελληνικά: - H Άρτα είναι η δεύτερη μεγαλύτερη πόλη της Περιφέρειας Ηπείρου.
Τα Τρίκαλα είναι μία από τις πόλεις της δυτικής Θεσσαλίας.
Η συνολική απόσταση μεταξύ των δύο αυτών πόλεων είναι 148 χλμ.
Θα ξεκινήσουμε το ταξίδι μας μόλις μερικά χιλιόμετρα ανατολικά της Άρτας ώστε να αποφύγουμε την πυκνή κυκλοφορία.
Κατά μήκος της διαδρομής, θα περάσουμε από παλιά ορεινά περάσματα, θα θαυμάσουμε τα εντυπωσιακά τοπία της Οροσειράς της Πίνδου, θα διασχίσουμε ένα τεράστιο φράγμα και μερικές εντυπωσιακές γέφυρες, θα θαυμάσουμε τοπία που θα μπορούσαν να είναι παρμένα από χώρες όπως η Ελβετία και τελικά θα φτάσουμε στα Τρίκαλα μέσω της Πύλης Τρικάλων!!!
Σε αυτήν τη χαλαρωτική διαδρομή 21 λεπτών, ταξιδεύουμε από το χωριό Βαθύρρευμα ή Βαθύρρεμα ως το χωριό Στουρναραίικα, που βρίσκεται στην περιοχή των Τρικάλων.
Αυτό το κομμάτι της διαδρομής είναι κατάφυτο, ορεινό, κι έχει μία σήραγγα, ενώ, ευτυχώς και δεδομένης της τοποθεσίας και των συνθηκών, ο δρόμος είναι σε πολύ καλή κατάσταση.
