Our First Film Gala at the Beverly Hilton (BHFF 2025) | Mind of Thoughts

Описание: The dream continued… this time in the iconic Beverly Hilton ballroom, surrounded by film, joy, and the people who made it possible.

On April 6, 2025, just two days after our world premiere, the Mind of Thoughts team gathered for the official gala of the 25th Beverly Hills Film Festival (BHFF), held inside the iconic International Ballroom, the very venue where the Golden Globes take place.

This episode captures the spirit of celebration: a night of joy, reflection, and deep gratitude after years of building this film from the ground up.

But this week in Hollywood held even more.
I also visited the legendary Egyptian Theatre for a screening of Lisa Cholodenko’s High Art followed by a Q&A that left me creatively recharged. And I had the honor of spending time at the Margaret Herrick Library and the Pickford Center for Motion Picture Study -- two archival spaces that hold the soul of cinema.

Thank you to the Academy for granting me access to such sacred corners of film history.

Mind of Thoughts is a short film exploring the unseen power of thought - how what lives inside us can build or break the lives we create.

Written and directed by emerging filmmaker Charlotte Verminck, the film is a meditation on the silent battles we all fight within ourselves, and a reminder that real change begins when we choose to believe in something greater than our fears. It’s a story for anyone who has ever doubted their worth, and dared to keep going anyway.
