Hi guys it is time for another adventure! I was off to the Kruger (National Park) for 6 nights in the bush, mostly birding but also a chance to get some summer time game drives in.
This is the second evening drive, where and I was hoping we would revisit the Pennant-winged nightjar lek from the first night but we were actually off on a 4X4 adventure on a back route that was meant to get us to a dam quicker than the normal route would. Only the route was not veery well maintained and turned out to be quite a long drive. We got to the dam well after dark and didn't see many birds at all and then it was time for a long drive back to camp.
All part of the adventure though and was a fun night drive all in all.
