Is there a sound only birds can hear?
Avian hearing is most sensitive to sounds from about 1 to 4 kHz, although they can hear higher and lower frequencies. No species of bird has shown sensitivity to ultrasonic frequencies (less than 20 kHz).
Can birds hear us?

You can't see a bird's real ears as these are mostly hidden by feathers, but birds do have excellent hearing. They can detect shorter and lower sounds than we can, which helps them to hear soft contact calls and recognise each other's songs.
