In this video I quickly show you how to make a very elegant shelf for under 50 bucks and it comes equipped with a locking hidden storage compartment!
Basic carpentry tools will do just fine for this build. The main tools that I used were: a miter saw, table saw, sander, wood clamps, drill and orbital sander. Everything can be purchased at Menards, Lowes or Home Depot.
The locking mechanism that I used will more than likely differ from the one you will find so just read the instructions on the package...do not necessarily follow what I did when you get to that part.
